CIMC-Jirong's Pre-conditioned Air Units (PCA) has three types of PCA units, namely, bridge-mounted PCA, apron-mounted PCA and mobile PCA to meet different requirements of the airports. With high efficiency and reliable performance, nearly a thousand sets of self-designed PCA units of CIMC-Jirong are in operation at civil airports around the world, covering Asia, Africa, Europe and America. (At Turkey Fraport-IctasInternational Airport) The upper part of the two sides of the bridge-mounted PCA is equipped with a sling connection plate for hoisting the unit under the boarding bridge. The unit features low energy consumption and economy since that it is close to the aircraftby hoisting at the front end of the boarding bridge andmoving along with the boarding bridge. Compared with other installation methods, the bridge-mounted PCA is hoisted beneath the boarding bridge, and it saves the ground space of the apron for a neat appearance. The apron-mounted PCA unit is installed in a suitable area near the boarding bridge, usually on the floor-mounted mounting bracket at the apron. Also, a guardrail is placed around the unit for protection. The cooling fan is fixed in the upper part of the unit with the exhaust vent upward to prevent damage to workers or vehicles. Compared with other installation methods, the apron-mounted PCA unit allows for easy maintenance. (At Haikou Meilan International Airport) Compared with other installation methods, the mobile PCA unit has the advantages of no restrictions on the structure of the boarding bridge and load bearing, and it boasts great convenience to users since it can be moved to any place at the apron. Mobile PCA unit is used for remote stand or as a backup for other PCA unit at the airport. (At Brazil Viracopos International Airport) |
